The Renfrew Public Library Board is seeking engaged community members to serve as trustees for the 2027-2030 term.
Library trustees play an important role in ensuring the Library continues to meet the needs of our community. Working collaboratively with fellow board members, trustees provide governance, help establish strategic direction, advocate for library services, and oversee the responsible stewardship of public resources.
No library experience is required. We’re looking for individuals who care about their community and are committed to helping the Library thrive for future generations.
A great Renfrew Public Library Board trustee is someone who:
- Values literacy, learning, and community connection
- Has financial and digital literacy skills
- Is open to new ideas and continuous learning
- Enjoys working collaboratively and respectfully with others
- Is interested in governance, advocacy, and community service
- Can commit time to Board meetings, reviewing reports, and supporting Library initiatives
Serving on the Library Board is a rewarding opportunity to contribute your skills, perspectives, and leadership while helping guide one of Renfrew’s most valued community institutions.
