Exciting News from RPL! 
We are so grateful to be funded in part by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors program for our Golden Growth project for seniors! 
The Golden Growth project involves engaging seniors through volunteering, mentoring, and community activities. Golden Growth is a well-rounded project that fosters community connection, intergenerational learning, accessibility, and cultural inclusion. 
The project will roll out in three exciting phases:
Cultivate Phase: Volunteer to help build a beautiful sensory garden and explore the world of Indigenous plants! 
Connect Phase: Seniors can participate in technology workshops (led by a senior instructor) covering a variety of exciting and useful topics. 
Create Phase: Bilingual storytelling, creative writing, and art workshops designed especially for seniors will be offered!

RPL a une excellente nouvelle à partager ! 
Nous sommes ravis d’annoncer que la Bibliothèque publique de Renfrew a reçu un financement partiel du programme Nouveaux Horizons pour les aînés du gouvernement du Canada pour notre projet Golden Growth ! 
Le projet Golden Growth vise à mobiliser les aînés par le bénévolat, le mentorat et les activités communautaires. C’est un projet complet qui encourage les liens intergénérationnels, l’accessibilité et l’inclusion culturelle.
Le projet comprend trois phases passionnantes :
Phase Cultiver : Faites du bénévolat pour aider à créer un magnifique jardin sensoriel et découvrez des plantes autochtones!
Phase Connecter : Participez à des ateliers technologiques couvrant une variété de sujets utiles et intéressants!
Phase Créer : Des ateliers bilingues de contes, d’écriture créative et d’arts seront proposés aux aînés!
