We are extremely excited to announce that we have been awarded the biennial Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Library Award!
A heartfelt thank you to the Fellowship Committee of the CFUW Charitable Trust for this honor. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Barbara Moogk, President of the Renfrew Chapter of CFUW, and Jane Donnelly for their support and nomination.

This project, “To The Stars & Beyond (Books)”, aims to enrich our celestial collection and provide equitable access to the stars for our community, with the addition of three telescopes (two of which will be available to borrow), as well as stargazing kits, astronomy books, puzzles and more! These telescopes are scheduled to arrive before August 9th, just in time for our Perseids Program! The Perseid meteor shower will peak on the night of August 12th and before dawn on August 13th, 2024.
