Library Entrance Renovations: Enhancing Accessibility

We are excited to announce the completion of renovations to the Library’s entrances, aimed at improving accessibility for all visitors. These enhancements were made possible through the generous support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Key Improvements Include:

A newly designed gradual ramp for smoother access to the Railway Avenue accessible entrance.
Installation of new doors equipped with accessible push-button entry at both Railway Avenue and Raglan Street entrances.
Replacement of old, crumbling concrete steps with brand-new concrete steps, complete with sturdy handrails for added safety.

We are grateful for the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s support in making the Library a more welcoming and inclusive space for our community.
